Lovely outdoor area. Small, nice garden area next to the lake. Good for an afternoon picnic

A great little park, with different gardens. Good for photos of glorious sunsets. Often busy.

Realistically, most of this park is just that - parkland. However, two features set it apart and make it worth a visit. Firstly is the Japanese garden section, which is nicely done and quite beautiful, if limited in size. Once a year hosts the Nara festival, with all things Japanese, including food, displays, stalls, entertainment and cultural displays. The Japanese garden gets thousands of candles to light up the night. So beautiful!

Beautiful views. It's a great place to take the family for a picnic. There are better places around if you're looking for a good playground for the kids. I definitely recommend checking out the lantern festival in Spring every year.
