  I have been trying to contact the embassy since 9 o'clock in the morning until 3 o'clock in the afternoon I've literally called their phone number every half an hour but I keep getting directed to a voicemail I've left several voice messages email I've called the overseas number still no response shocking that's all I can say I do not know how an embassy runs its business with out answering phone calls.

  Lack of systems integration and common sense. I moved to Australia after living in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. Want to visit my parents in Riyadh for which my father has sent the visa. The Embassy still requires me to prove my relationship by translating the birth certificate. If I lived in your country for 20 years, surely you have my family history in the system? This is what frustrates me about the processes and systems in Saudi Arabia. Just additional costs in getting a visit visa without much justification.
